Herb Care
Light
Locate in a southern exposure or where your herbs will receive as much light as possible in the house. The plants will grow with less light but will be less prolific and tend to elongate. Use of an artificial plant light would also benefit the herbs.
Water
In general, herbs tend to be thirsty. Do not allow the soil to dry out completely. Water well twice a week; more in warm bright light, less in winter or lower light conditions. Caution should be used to not allow the plant to sit in excess water collecting in the Bio pot for an extended amount of time (i.e. more than a day).
Fertilizer
Use a general purpose houseplant fertilizer at the recommended rate every time you water.
Pest
Although not typically a large problem, the normal house plant pests can be a problem from time to time, simply use an insecticidal soap found at your local Lowe's store. The most common pests are whitefly and caterpillars.
